Ultrasonic transducers
Ultrasonic transducers convert high-frequency electricity into mechanical energy.
Related productsUltrasonic transducers with its expansion and contraction and with a proper alternating signal convert electrical energy. The contraction and stretching outward is manifested as an oscillation, which is transferred to the liquid through the bath. These conditions, of course, with a sufficiently high frequency and amplitude of oscillation, create cavitation.
For better efficiency, piezoelectric transducers are made as sandwich construction. It is composed (seen from the screw down) of a screw, buffer, ceramic discs and a transmitter. Each piezoelectric transducer is assembled by hand and screwed in with a specified force. Furthermore, the impedance characteristic is measured for each individual piezoelectric transducer. Piezoelectric transducers are selected according to the measured impedance characteristic. They are more precisely sorted according to their own resonant frequency. The form of the impedance characteristic and the impedance value at the resonant frequency are also checked.
The selected transducers are further glued to ultrasonic immersible transducers, ultrasonic flange transducers, or desktop ultrasonic cleaners. The gluing is followed by a re-measurement of the impedance characteristic. Finally, as a result of optimal ultrasonic wave operation, piezoelectric transducers are synchronized with the ultrasonic generator. The procedure in fact provides for optimum use, effect, ultrasonic wave distribution, reliability of operation, and longer life.
